I was first introduced to The New Cities in March of 2009 when they opened up from Simple Plan at their show in Bromont, Quebec. Their album hadn't been released at the time but they definitely had caught my attention. This past June (2009), I returned to Canada (as I'm from New York City) to see Simple Plan at three more shows in Quebec and The New Cities opened for them at each one and that continued to be a driving force in my desire to know more about this band. I obtained their album and I have not been able to stop listening to it. Their live show is something to see and the catchy, amazing music behind it will take them far and I'm glad to be along for the ride!
